We are seeking an experienced, Texas-licensed Medical Director to provide clinical oversight, medical guidance, and regulatory supervision for our growing practice.

Our practice utilizes Qualiphy and Aesthetic Record for patient evaluations, documentation, electronic medical records, and practice management, allowing for efficient collaboration and remote oversight.

Position Overview

The Medical Director will provide medical supervision and clinical leadership to ensure that all aesthetic and wellness procedures are performed safely, ethically, and in accordance with applicable Texas medical regulations.

This is primarily a remote oversight position, ideal for a physician experienced in aesthetic medicine, medical spas, or wellness practices who is seeking a flexible professional opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight for cosmetic injectable treatments, including neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and other aesthetic injectables.
• Oversee medically appropriate weight-management programs, including GLP-1 medications and other prescription-based wellness treatments.
• Review and approve clinical protocols for peptide therapies when legally permitted and medically appropriate.
• Supervise clinical protocols for advanced aesthetic procedures, including microneedling, RF microneedling, IPL, skin rejuvenation, and related services.
• Establish and maintain appropriate standing orders, treatment protocols, and clinical policies.
• Ensure required medical evaluations, prescribing, delegation, and supervision are conducted in compliance with Texas law.
• Collaborate with providers using Qualiphy and Aesthetic Record for patient documentation and clinical coordination.
• Provide consultation and medical guidance regarding contraindications, adverse reactions, complications, and emergency protocols.
• Participate in periodic chart reviews, quality assurance, and clinical compliance evaluations.
• Remain accessible for medical consultations and participate in on-site supervision when required.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas MD or DO license.
• Current DEA registration when required for the scope of services.
• Experience in medical aesthetics, cosmetic injectables, dermatology, plastic surgery, family medicine, or related clinical practice preferred.
• Familiarity with GLP-1 weight-management treatments and applicable prescribing regulations.
• Understanding of Texas Medical Board requirements regarding physician delegation, medical supervision, and medspa operations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with an established aesthetics practice.
• Comfortable working remotely with electronic medical records and telehealth systems.

Compensation

Negotiable – Monthly Medical Director Retainer / Independent Contractor Agreement

Compensation will be discussed based on the physician’s responsibilities, level of involvement, and required oversight.
