Overview

We are seeking a licensed Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) to provide remote clinical oversight for our new aesthetic practice in Southwest Florida, specializing in laser hair removal and non-invasive cosmetic treatments.

This is a brand-new practice requiring minimal, straightforward oversight, making it an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a flexible, low-demand consulting role to complement their primary practice or schedule. While the position is remote and does not require hands-on injection or cosmetic procedures, an interest in the aesthetics industry is a strong plus. You will ensure compliance with Florida medical regulations and support patient safety protocols as our clinical team delivers exceptional care. Must be within 150 miles form Osprey, FL.

Key Responsibilities

• Protocols & Compliance: Review, establish, and maintain written medical protocols, standing orders, and safety guidelines for laser hair removal and aesthetic treatments in strict compliance with Florida Board of Medicine regulations.
• Remote Supervision & Chart Audits: Conduct periodic remote chart reviews (10%) and provide ongoing clinical oversight to ensure adherence to established treatment protocols and informed consent standards.
• Clinical Consultation: Serve as a remote clinical resource for our licensed aesthetic staff, offering guidance on client assessments, contraindications, and clinical safety.
• Regulatory Partnership: Maintain full compliance with state supervisory mandates governing medical aesthetics and laser practices in Florida, including joint written protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure: Active, unencumbered Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) license in the State of Florida (residents/trainees cannot be accepted per state regulations).
• Experience Level: Open to practicing physicians seeking a flexible, low-volume oversight position.
• Aesthetic Interest: A strong interest in medical aesthetics and safe clinical practices.
• Communication & Reliability: Excellent communication skills for seamless remote collaboration with practice management and licensed technicians.
