About the Role

Finite Carbon is seeking an experienced carbon markets sales leader to drive the commercialization of carbon credits generated by our portfolio of North American forest carbon projects.

As Director of Voluntary Carbon Sales, you will own the day-to-day sales functions for carbon credits across the voluntary and compliance markets. You will develop and execute sales strategies, build relationships with large-scale corporate and institutional buyers, manage the sales pipeline, and negotiate carbon credit transactions.

As part of the Commercial Operations Team reporting to the Vice-President of Commercial Operations you will collaborate internally to ensure the successful implementation of credit marketing and sales obligations for Finite Carbon clients. Your efforts will contribute significantly to expanding our market presence and driving our continued success as a leader in nature based solutions.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and lead negotiations to secure carbon sales bids and agreements. Respond to buyer due diligence inquiries.

- Identify, engage, and build relationships with large-scale buyers (i.e., corporations, intermediaries, etc.) and their key decision-makers to understand their carbon offset needs and align our offerings with their requirements.
