Overview
Director of Business Development (Outsourcing Services)Position' We are seeking a high-performing, results-driven Director of Business Development to lead our growth strategy and expand our market footprint. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing high-value B2B outsourcing contracts (e.g., BPO, ITO, KPO, or customer support solutions).The ideal candidate is a strategic hunter with a proven track record of navigating complex corporate structures, engaging C-level executives, and turning cold leads into long-term partnerships. You must possess a demonstrated ability to close large-scale deals and a deep understanding of the outsourcing industry landscape.Key Responsibilities
- Execute the End-to-End Sales Cycle: Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close new business contracts to meet and exceed annual revenue targets.
- Pipeline Generation: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through targeted outbound outreach, networking, and industry events.
- Consultative Selling: Understand prospective clients' operational pain points and design tailored outsourcing solutions that demonstrate clear ROI, efficiency gains, and scalability.
- C-Suite Engagement: Confidently pitch to and negotiate with Chief Operating Officers (COOs), Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), and Procurement Heads.
- Proposal & RFP Management: Lead the creation of compelling proposals, presentations, and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Operations and Implementation teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales handshake to service delivery.
Required Prior Experience & Qualifications
- Outsourcing Industry Expertise: Minimum of 3–7 years of B2B business development or sales experience specifically within the outsourcing, BPO, or professional services sector.
- Proven Closing Track Record: Documented history of closing complex, six- to seven-figure service contracts with mid-market and enterprise clients.
- Sales Methodology Knowledge: Experience utilizing structured sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN Selling, Challenger Sale, or Miller Heiman) to manage long sales cycles (3–9 months).
- CRM Proficiency: Advanced experience managing pipelines and forecasting revenue accurately within CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).

- Master Closer: Exceptional negotiation and objection-handling skills, with the ability to create urgency and drive deals across the finish line.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of pricing models, gross margins, and cost-benefit analyses related to offshore, nearshore, or onshore staffing.
- Communication Elite: Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills; able to command a room during executive pitches.
- Self-Starter Autonomy: A highly motivated individual who thrives in an autonomous environment and is driven by commission and growth.
