President - Educational Startup (Remote)

Job Summary

The President will set the direction and lead the growth of a remote educational startup. This role brings together corporate strategy, entrepreneurship, business management, and nonprofit management to advance the organization’s educational mission. You’ll guide senior leadership, build strong board relations, and align financial and operational decisions with strategic priorities. This is a paid position.

Duties

• Develop and execute strategic plans, business development priorities, and marketing initiatives.
• Lead executive-level team management, team management, and supervising activities; foster collaboration across the organization.
• Oversee operations management, operational management, and business management to support effective delivery of educational programs.
• Direct financial management and executive-level budget management; apply nonprofit financial management experience where relevant.
• Lead fundraising and fundraising for business development, and collaborate with board members on strategy, governance, and organizational priorities.
• Your impact: By aligning strategy, funding, and operations, you’ll help learners access educational programs and give teams and board members a clear path to support the mission.

Experience

• Demonstrated executive leadership, senior leadership, leadership, and management experience, including executive-level team management.
• Experience in corporate strategy, strategic management, strategic planning, entrepreneurship, and business development.
• Background in financial management, executive-level budget management, and operations management; nonprofit financial management experience is preferred.
• Experience with fundraising, marketing, nonprofit management, board relations, and collaboration with board members is preferred.
• Strong communication, judgment, and ability to lead distributed teams in a remote environment.

Pay: $55.56 - $64.87 per hour
