Medical Director / Supervising Physician – Primary Care, Hormone & Metabolic Health

Florida-Licensed MD/DO | Internal Medicine or Family Medicine | Remote

Hormona Vida is seeking an experienced Medical Director / Supervising Physician to provide clinical leadership and oversight across our growing telehealth platform.

Our model bridges conventional primary care and insurance-based medicine with personalized women's hormone health, metabolic medicine, medical weight management, preventive care, and longevity medicine.

We are looking for a physician who is clinically grounded, forward-thinking, and comfortable integrating evidence-based conventional medicine with emerging approaches to personalized and preventive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician oversight and periodic chart review for NPs/PAs
• Support providers with clinical questions and selected case consultation
• Review and help maintain clinical protocols, care pathways, decision trees, and reference materials
• Provide scheduled office hours/availability for the clinical team
• Support clinical quality, patient safety, documentation, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with leadership as we expand our clinical programs and geographic footprint

Approximately up to 4 hours per month | Remote | Independent Contractor

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Florida medical license
• Board-certified MD/DO in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active DEA registration
• Strong conventional primary care background
• Experience or strong interest in BHRT/women's hormone health, metabolic health, medical weight management, and longevity medicine
• Experience supervising or collaborating with advanced practice providers preferred
• Additional state medical licenses are a plus as we expand
