Job Description

Head of Growth Marketing - B2B

Full-Time | Remote - U.S. Based | $100,000–$130,000 Base + Performance Incentives

Build the demand engine.

Vasana helps established business owners build more profitable, scalable companies that depend less on them personally.

We're early in building Vasana, and we're looking for an exceptional growth marketer to build the engine that puts us in front of the right business owners and turns attention into qualified opportunities.

This is not a social media manager position.

It's not a content-production position.

And success will not be measured by how many posts we publish.

We need someone who can answer a much harder question

How do we consistently create demand from the business owners we want to serve - and turn that demand into pipeline and revenue?

You'll have significant ownership over answering that question.

The Opportunity

You'll own Vasana's marketing strategy and demand generation.

We're looking for someone who can take a market, an ideal customer, a set of business problems, and a strong point of view and turn them into campaigns that produce measurable business results.

You'll work directly with the CEO and our growing sales organization to build a repeatable acquisition engine across paid, organic, content, email, events, partnerships, and other channels worth testing.

Some things will work.

Some won't.

We expect you to know the difference because you're measuring it.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build, not inherit.

What You'll OwnDemand Generation & Pipeline

Your primary responsibility is creating qualified demand.

You'll:

  • Develop and execute Vasana's demand-generation strategy
  • Build campaigns targeting established business owners and CEOs
  • Generate qualified leads and sales opportunities
  • Create acquisition funnels from first touch through sales handoff
  • Work closely with sales to improve lead quality and conversion
  • Track marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline
  • Understand customer acquisition cost and channel economics
  • Continuously test messaging, offers, audiences, channels, and campaigns
  • Scale what works and kill what doesn't

Positioning & Messaging

Business owners don't wake up wanting “business consulting.”

They wake up thinking

Why isn't this business more profitable?

Why does everything still depend on me?

Why aren't my people taking ownership?

Why are we working this hard for these results?

You'll help turn our understanding of those problems into marketing that makes the right owner stop and pay attention.

You'll:

  • Sharpen positioning and messaging
  • Conduct ongoing customer and market research
  • Translate business problems into compelling campaigns
  • Develop offers, hooks, lead magnets, workshops, and acquisition concepts
  • Ensure messaging remains consistent across channels
  • Use market feedback and performance data to continually improve positioning

Campaigns & Growth Experiments

We want someone who constantly asks

What's the smartest way to get this in front of more of the right people?

That may include

  • Paid social
  • Paid search
  • Workshops and live training
  • Webinars
  • AI and business education programs
  • Email campaigns
  • Lead magnets and diagnostic tools
  • Founder-led content
  • YouTube
  • LinkedIn
  • Partnerships
  • Referral strategies
  • Retargeting
  • Direct-response campaigns
  • New channels we haven't tested yet

We are not looking for someone emotionally attached to a particular channel.

We're looking for someone attached to results.

Content Strategy

The CEO will be an important source of thought leadership and intellectual property.

Your job is to turn that expertise into a content engine that supports business growth.

You'll:

  • Develop the content strategy
  • Identify topics and angles based on customer pain, search behavior, market conversations, and sales feedback
  • Turn core ideas into campaigns and multiple forms of content
  • Build distribution into the strategy - not simply production
  • Connect content to offers, audience growth, demand, and pipeline
  • Determine what should be created internally, outsourced, automated, or eliminated

You will not be expected to personally spend your days editing every video or designing every graphic.

You'll have the ability to use internal, freelance, international, and AI resources for execution.

Your job is to make sure the right marketing gets done and produces results.

Paid Acquisition

You'll own or oversee paid acquisition strategy, including:

  • Audience development
  • Offer development
  • Creative strategy
  • Landing pages
  • Campaign structure
  • Budget allocation
  • Testing
  • Conversion optimization
  • Retargeting
  • Attribution
  • CAC and return on marketing investment

You should understand paid media well enough to know whether it is working - even when specialists or agencies are executing portions of it.

Email, Funnels & Nurture

Not every business owner will be ready to buy the first time they encounter Vasana.

You'll build systems that turn attention into relationships and relationships into opportunities.

That includes

  • Lead capture
  • Email nurture
  • Segmentation
  • Follow-up campaigns
  • Retargeting
  • Event follow-up
  • Sales enablement
  • Re-engagement
  • Conversion optimization

Sales Alignment

Marketing and sales will not operate as separate islands.

You'll work closely with our sales team to understand:

  • Which leads convert
  • Which don't
  • What prospects are saying
  • What objections repeatedly appear
  • Which problems create urgency
  • Which offers resonate
  • Where opportunities are being lost

That information should continuously improve our marketing.

How Success Will Be Measured

Not followers.

Not likes.

Not how busy the marketing calendar looks.

We'll care about metrics such as:

  • Qualified leads
  • Qualified sales opportunities
  • Marketing-sourced pipeline
  • Marketing-influenced pipeline
  • Customer acquisition cost
  • Lead-to-opportunity conversion
  • Opportunity-to-client conversion
  • Funnel conversion rates
  • Event and workshop performance
  • Email and audience growth among the right people
  • Revenue attributable to marketing
  • Return on marketing investment

Early on, part of your job will be helping establish the appropriate benchmarks and targets.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has actually built demand.

Ideally, you've marketed B2B services, consulting, SaaS, professional services, education, or another offer where the customer needs to trust and understand the solution before buying.

You may be a strong fit if you

  • Have a demonstrated record of generating B2B pipeline
  • Understand demand generation and direct-response marketing
  • Can think strategically and execute
  • Understand positioning, messaging, offers, funnels, and conversion
  • Know paid acquisition beyond simply boosting posts
  • Understand content but don't confuse content with marketing
  • Are comfortable with analytics and attribution
  • Can connect marketing activity to business economics
  • Understand sales and enjoy working closely with salespeople
  • Are an excellent writer and communicator
  • Test rather than guess
  • Move quickly
  • Are willing to kill your own ideas when the data says they're not working
  • Know how to use contractors and specialists effectively
  • Are already using AI to increase the speed and quality of marketing work
  • Continuously experiment with emerging technology rather than waiting to be told to adopt it
  • Want significant ownership and accountability

This Role Is Not for You If...

Your primary marketing experience is posting on social media.

Your portfolio is beautiful but you can't explain what revenue it produced.

You measure success primarily through reach, engagement, or follower growth.

You need an agency to tell you whether our campaigns are working.

You wait for the CEO to give you every content idea.

You avoid numbers.

Or you can tell us exactly what was published last quarter but can't tell us how much pipeline marketing generated.

We need a growth marketer - not a content coordinator with a bigger title.

Where Vasana Is Today

Vasana is early-stage.

We're building our sales engine, refining our offers, developing our market presence, and establishing the systems required to scale.

That means you won't inherit a mature marketing department with established playbooks.

You'll help create them.

You'll have access to the CEO's expertise, existing intellectual property, business frameworks, content, technology, and execution resources.

What we need is the person who can turn those assets into a measurable growth engine.

Compensation

Base Salary: $110,000–$140,000, depending on demonstrated experience

Plus performance-based compensation tied to company and marketing results

We're looking for an exceptional marketer and are willing to pay competitively for demonstrated ability.

As Vasana grows, there is significant opportunity for increased responsibility, compensation, and leadership.

About Vasana

Vasana helps established business owners build better businesses.

Our work sits at the intersection of strategy, people, sales, marketing, operations, finance, systems, leadership, and technology.

We help owners understand what's actually constraining their company and then turn the right strategy into execution.

Our goal isn't simply to help businesses get bigger.

It's to help build companies that are more profitable, better operated, better led, and less dependent on the owner.

To Apply

Please submit your résumé and answer the following:

  • What B2B company or offer have you personally helped grow?
  • What measurable pipeline or revenue did your marketing generate?
  • What marketing budget have you personally managed?
  • Give us an example of a campaign you built from concept through results. What were the numbers?
  • What was the approximate CAC or cost per qualified opportunity in your most recent role?
  • Tell us about a campaign you believed would work that failed. How did you respond?
  • What role did you personally play versus what was executed by your team, agency, or contractors?
  • How are you currently using AI in your marketing work?

Candidates who advance will complete a practical growth exercise using a real-world Vasana scenario.

We're less interested in hearing that you're a great marketer than seeing evidence that you know how to create demand, measure it, and turn it into business.
