Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with corporate goals and growth initiatives.
• Oversee all financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and ASC 606 standards.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial projection models to support business planning and decision-making.
• Supervise corporate accounting functions including revenue management, cost control, expense management, and payroll management.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements related to financial reporting, SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and industry-specific regulations.
• Conduct risk analysis and develop risk management strategies to safeguard company assets and ensure operational stability.
• Oversee treasury management activities such as cash flow optimization, banking relationships, and liquidity planning.
• Lead mergers & acquisitions initiatives by conducting due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning.
• Collaborate with business development teams on fundraising efforts and strategic investments to support organizational growth.
• Manage the finance team through effective leadership, supervision, coaching, and talent development.

Experience

• Extensive experience in senior finance or directorship roles within diverse industries, including non-profit accounting or corporate finance environments.
• Proven expertise in financial analysis, financial statement interpretation, and the development of comprehensive financial report writing.
• Strong background in accounting systems implementation and management of accounting standards such as GAAP and IFRS.
• Demonstrated success in strategic management, business analysis, market analysis, and financial modeling for forecasting purposes.
• Experience leading finance teams with supervisory responsibilities while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of industry regulations related to governmental accounting, supply chain finance, tax accounting, cost accounting, and public accounting practices is highly desirable.
• Skilled in negotiation with stakeholders at all levels to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization’s fiscal health.

Pay: $84,989.99 - $102,353.54 per year
