Corporate Controller

Job Summary

The Corporate Controller leads accounting operations and strengthens the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of financial information. You’ll guide the financial close, oversee reporting and controls, and partner with finance leaders on analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. This role calls for sound judgment, clear communication, and the ability to lead an accounting team through complex work.

Duties

• Lead corporate accounting, general ledger accounting, financial close processing, and balance sheet and general ledger reconciliation.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, treasury management, and double-entry bookkeeping, including debits and credits.
• Prepare financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and financial report writing; support financial analysis, account analysis, cost accounting analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Maintain accounting systems and financial software, strengthen financial compliance and regulatory compliance accounting, and oversee internal controls, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in accounting, financial accounting, corporate accounting, technical accounting, financial management, and financial concepts; strong financial acumen and spreadsheet skills, including Excel data analysis.
• Experience managing accounting teams and finance team management, with knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP); International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is preferred.
• Familiarity with account reconciliation, financial close, and regulatory compliance; public accounting, international accounting, non-profit accounting, or governmental accounting experience is valued.
• Proficiency with accounting software and financial software; experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is a plus.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $121,000.00 per year
