VP, Strategic Operations - REMOTE must be in DC/MD/VA

Role Summary

Precon is seeking a highly capable, strategic, and emotionally intelligent Vice President, Strategic Operations to help lead the organization into its continued growth. This role is the senior operating partner to the Founder and CEO, responsible for translating vision into execution and building the operating discipline, infrastructure, and accountability needed for Precon to scale successfully.

The Vice President will lead the company’s core operating work: maintaining company processes and protocols, reporting, technology, internal communication, and operating cadence; supporting organizational design and talent decisions. This role will identify opportunities to improve profitability and turn strategy into a measurable result. This role serves as a close counselor to the CEO and a unifying presence across leadership perspectives.

As a senior leader within a growing industry leader, this individual must combine operational rigor with strong interpersonal judgment. They must be able to understand company deficiencies, diagnose what needs to change, and lead the necessary follow-through. That includes coaching and developing people, building stronger teams, hiring, and addressing underperformance or termination when it is in the company’s best interest.

This role will also oversee Precon’s producers, creative functions, and work across departments. This is an important responsibility, but it sits within the larger mandate of building a better-run growth organization. The Vice President will help experienced producers work as a team, and strengthen the connection among client strategy, creative thinking, operational feasibility, and profitability.
