REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR

Territory Coverage

This role leads and supports the Mid-Atlantic region which includes Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC, and West Virginia. Candidates must reside in the region to be considered, as local presence is essential for developing strong partnerships with key customers, mentoring and coaching field sales teams, and providing hands-on leadership. Proximity also enables frequent collaboration with direct reports, efficient travel, and deep understanding of local market dynamics.

THE ROLE

The Regional Sales Director (RSD) is responsible for driving sales and market growth within their assigned region, ensuring alignment with Biodesix's strategic goals. This leader will guide a high-performing sales team, fostering relationships with key healthcare partners including interventional pulmonologists, pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, general practitioners, and other clinical stakeholders.
