Job Summary

The South Atlantic Regional Operations Director (ROD) will be responsible for overseeing the business aspects of hospital operations and upholding a sound medical environment in a region of veterinary hospitals that includes general practice hospitals within the South Atlantic group. You will be working daily in a company that genuinely values local input and decision-making. The ROD supports the Hospital Managers and Medical Directors to meet goals and foster an excellent service culture and working environment. The ROD will perform a wide range of activities related to hospital operations and works closely in collaboration with a Regional Medical Director (RMD) & a Regional Technician Director (RTD) to support the complex needs of our specialty hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Accountability & responsibility for the hospital profit & loss statements
• Oversight of veterinary hospitals including doctors, technicians, and other paraprofessional staff
• Management of 25+ direct reports including both Hospital Managers and Medical Directors
• Lead the transition and integration of acquired veterinary practices into the region
• Support the expansion and renovation of veterinary hospitals to drive expansion of services
