Position Overview

The Medical Director, Autoimmune Disease, will be a key medical leader dedicated to helping advance Adaptive's emerging autoimmune diagnostics franchise. Working within Adaptive's medical and clinical development infrastructure, this individual will serve as the medical lead for current and future autoimmune pipeline products, with accountability for clinical development planning, evidence generation, early clinical experience, and medical input into product and commercialization strategy.

The Medical Director will bring the physician and patient perspective to cross-functional strategy, partner across R&D and commercial functions, and develop relationships with KOLs, investigators, and scientific collaborators. The role may have the opportunity to build a team as the autoimmune program and business case matures.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Lead the medical aspects of the autoimmune program and create and execute the clinical development and evidence plan in alignment with cross-functional product and franchise strategy
• Provide disease-area, physician, and patient input to R&D, Product, Commercial, and Market Access teams, informing intended use, product requirements, clinical workflow, evidence needs, and commercialization planning
• Design and oversee clinical validation, clinical utility, real-world evidence, and early clinical experience programs, partnering closely with Development, Biostatistics, Regulatory, Q
