Job Description

At BairesDev®, we've been leading the way in technology projects for over 15 years. We deliver cutting-edge solutions to giants like Google and the most innovative startups in Silicon Valley.

Our diverse 4,000+ team, composed of the world's Top 1% of tech talent, works remotely on roles that drive significant impact worldwide.

When you apply for this position, you're taking the first step in a process that goes beyond the ordinary. We aim to align your passions and skills with our vacancies, setting you on a path to exceptional career development and success.

Head of Signature Events at BairesDev

BairesDev is hiring a Head of Signature Events to run a program of invitation-only experiences for senior technology executives at our existing and prospective clients, hosted by our CEO, commercial leaders, and account teams. Examples of the formats include private dinners during World Economic Forum week in Davos, suite experiences at NBA games, and a poker night for CTOs hosted with a professional poker player. You will own each event end to end: concept, venue and vendors, invitation strategy and guest list with commercial teams, budget and contracts, and on-site hosting. You will measure every event by the meetings and pipeline it produces and report results to marketing and sales leadership. The role is remote, based in the US or Canada (Pacific Coast preferred), with regular travel to host events in the US and abroad.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and produce BairesDev's signature executive experiences end to end, hosted by our CEO, commercial leaders or account teams (e.g., private dinners during WEF week in Davos, suite experiences at NBA games, a poker night for CTOs with a professional poker player), including concept, venue, vendors, run-of-show and on-site hosting.
  • Fill each event with the right executives by setting the invitation strategy with senior leaders, building invite lists with commercial teams and ABM from target and existing accounts, running personalized invitations and confirmations, and meeting attendance targets for C-level and VP guests.
  • Manage the events budget, contracts and vendors, including venues, hospitality, agencies, DMCs, and talent, negotiating terms and tracking cost per attendee.
  • Measure results by tracking attendees, follow-up meetings, and influenced, sourced and expansion pipeline in the CRM, and reporting event ROI to marketing and commercial leadership.
  • Build the annual signature events calendar and a repeatable playbook, including formats, vendor roster, run-of-show templates, and gift and hospitality compliance.
  • Travel regularly to host events in the US and abroad, including during World Economic Forum week in Davos.

What we are looking for

  • 6+ years in marketing, of which 4+ years in B2B event marketing or corporate events at B2B companies (executive events, field events, customer events, hosted experiences).
  • Personally produced invitation-only experiences for C-level and VP buyers (10-50 guests): private dinners, suites or hospitality at major sporting events, curated experiences, owning concept, venue, vendors, guest list (invitations, RSVPs, attendance), and on-site hosting.
  • 4+ years running events aimed at US B2B buyers (US target accounts, US clients, US-based executive attendees).
  • Experience producing events outside your home city, including international or destination events.
  • Experience producing events with a CEO, founder or senior executive as host: briefing them, building the run-of-show around them, and managing their guest-list approvals.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Based in the US or Canada, Pacific Coast preferred (California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia).
  • Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice to have

* Experience working for B2B technology companies (SaaS, software, IT services or consulting) selling to CTOs, CIOs and engineering leaders.
