Job Description
Head Growth and Customer Success Lead (Founding Role)
ChatAgentLy.com · [Remote, US only] · Hourly -commission
Getting subscriptions and Revenue, That is this job.
ChatAgentLy (https://chatagently.com) puts an AI agent on SMB business's website. It answers customer questions only from that business's own content, cites every reply, and says "I don't know" instead of guessing. The same chat takes online orders from the business's own menu or catalog, runs a kitchen display for restaurants, books appointments and captures leads. Our customers are restaurants, clinics, salons, trades, online stores and support teams: owners who answer the same questions all day and don't have a developer.

We are early. The product is broad and live, and the next step is getting it into the hands of the businesses it was built for.
This is a very fast paced Work, apply only if you are up for it.
The role
You will be the first person whose whole job is customers: finding them, signing them up, getting them live and keeping them happy. You will own the path from a stranger hearing about us to a business that pays every month and tells another owner. You will work directly with the founder and have real influence over the product, pricing and what we build next.
What you'll do
*Marketing and visibility*
- Run our launch and directory listings: Product Hunt, G2, Capterra and the AI and industry directories.
- Write and publish two articles a month for owners, from a keyword plan we already have.
- Build our presence where buyers are, such as restaurant, clinic and e-commerce communities, LinkedIn, Reddit and local business groups, by being useful first.
- Test small paid search campaigns per industry, and stop what doesn't produce trials.
*Bringing in subscribers*
- Reach out to restaurants, clinics, salons and stores, show them what their own website can't answer, and run short demos.
- Personally set up the first customers: upload their menu, get the chat on their site, and print their QR code.
- Turn early customers into case studies, reviews and referrals.
*Growing revenue*
- Own trial-to-paid conversion. Find where trials stall and fix it with onboarding emails, in-app guidance and timely follow-up.
- Move customers to annual billing, and to higher plans when they outgrow theirs.
- Run launch offers and promotions with our built-in promotional pricing.
- Bring pricing feedback from real conversations to the founder.
*Supporting customers and the product*
- Answer support questions by email and chat, with a goal of same-day replies.
- Help owners with setup: menus, ordering, the kitchen display, bookings and the chat widget.
- Keep the FAQ, guides and help articles accurate as the product changes.
- Bring every bug, confusion and feature request back to the product, with the customer's own words attached.
What success looks like
- First 30 days. You know the product end to end, the directory listings are live, and you have set up your first customers by hand. You have a repeatable way of bringing in trials, a trial-to-paid rate we trust, published case studies, and a support process that doesn't depend on the founder.
- First year. You own a growing revenue line and know which channel produces customers at what cost.
You might be a fit if you
- Have 3+ years in B2B SaaS growth, customer success, account management or sales, ideally selling to small businesses.
- Can explain a technical product in plain words to a restaurant owner during a lunch rush.
- Write clearly and quickly, from a cold email to a help article to a launch post.
- Are comfortable picking up the phone, walking into a business, and running a demo.
- Look at numbers weekly and change course when something isn't working.
- Like owning an outcome end to end more than owning one slice of it.
Nice to have
- Experience with restaurants, hospitality, clinics or e-commerce, or with POS, ordering or booking software.
- SEO and content experience, or a track record with Product Hunt or directory launches.
- Familiarity with Stripe, HubSpot or a similar CRM, and analytics tools.
- Spanish or another second language. Many of our owners and their customers speak more than one.
How to apply
Send your resume and a short note to [email protected] answering one question: pick a local business near you and tell us what three questions their website doesn't answer. There's no wrong answer. We want to see how you think about a customer.
