Job Description
Summary
The Director of Student Affairs leads the development and execution of student success and persistence initiatives across Carrington College. This role focuses on supporting at-promise student populations, enhancing student services, and improving persistence and graduation outcomes. The Director collaborates with faculty, academic coaches, and campus leaders to create a student-centered culture that promotes engagement and achievement.
Compensation
The starting pay range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Data Analysis
- Design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive retention and student success initiatives aligned with the College's strategic plan.
- Develop systems to track, analyze, and report on retention, attrition, persistence, and graduation data.
- Conduct research and analysis of industry best practices in student success and retention across private, and for-profit sectors.
- Provide data-driven intervention strategies and recommendations to college and campus leadership.
Student Success and Intervention Programs
- Identify at-promise student populations and develop targeted early intervention programs and support services.
- Monitor performance of at-promise students and coordinate appropriate support programs and workshops.
- Evaluate and audit the new student onboarding experience, including New Student Orientation and First Module Success rates.
- Create and maintain referral systems to connect students with appropriate college resources.
- Develop student services strategies and initiatives that directly support improved graduation and placement rates.
Collaboration and Leadership
- Oversight of the Student Affairs ticketing system, ensuring compliance with all external compliance standards and internal policies and procedures.
- Coordinate training and professional development with Campus Presidents/Director
