The Director of Programs oversees this network; coordinates implementation across multiple communities and locations; maintains the annual program and events calendar; monitors program quality and outcomes; manages program budgets; and ensures program activities align with GTG's mission, policies, contractual requirements, and applicable laws and standards.

The Director also supervises the Veterans Initiatives Manager, provides oversight and support to the Community Awards Manager, and serves as an escalation point for program delivery matters.

This position requires a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative leader who can manage multiple priorities independently while working closely with the CEO and leadership team.

  • Coordinate consultant assignments, schedules, logistics, and delivery requirements with internal leadership and external partners.
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries between GTG's responsibilities and those of consultants, partner organizations, content owners, and other third parties.

  • Develop and maintain a continuous quality improvement (CQI) process for GTG-supported programming.
  • Coordinate participant feedback, post-program surveys, follow-up activities, and third-party evaluation or validation, as applicable.
  • Monitor program performance and identify opportunities to improve quality, consistency, participant experience, and operational effectiveness.
  • Track appropriate metrics, including attendance, participation, retention, satisfaction, delivery volume, and available outcomes data.
  • Coordinate with third-party researchers, evaluators, or validators, as applicable, to support measurement and reporting of program outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate program records, calendars, documentation, and reporting materials.

  • Maintain appropriate separation between GTG-supported programming and the intellectual property, activities, fundraising, and operations of third-party organizations and content partners.
  • Escalate legal, compliance, safety, financial, or reputational concerns to the appropriate member of leadership.

Stakeholder & Partnership Relationships

  • Establish, cultivate, and maintain productive relationships with program partners and stakeholders.
