Job Description
OVERVIEW
Hype Boss is hiring a highly organized, execution-minded Director of Brand Activations & Client Programs to lead the implementation of major client partnerships and brand initiatives, for some of our highest profile clients.
This person will take programs from signed scope to successful execution.
You will work directly with Hype Boss leadership, our internal team, client stakeholders, creative partners, talent and vendors to make sure every commitment we make turns into a well-run, high-quality program.
We need someone who can understand the strategy behind a program, translate it into an operating plan, manage the relationships surrounding it and stay close enough to the work to make sure every deliverable gets finished.
Some programs will involve creator and talent networks. Others may include advisory councils, brand partnerships, events, media, social content, video, newsletters, sponsorship integrations, marketing campaigns and other multimedia activations.
You will become the operational center of those programs.
THE ROLE
You will own the implementation process once a client engagement or program has been closed by our sales team. This is one of the most critical roles in our organization, as it takes the vision we have created with the brand, and makes it a reality.
THINGS YOU’LL CRUSH
- Turning contracts, scopes of work, proposals and strategic concepts into clear implementation plans.
- Building timelines, workbacks, deliverable trackers and project systems.
- Maintaining a master view of every commitment Hype Boss has made to each client.
- Following up relentlessly on outstanding deliverables, approvals, assets and decisions.
- Making sure deadlines are met and identifying problems before they become client problems.
- Running recurring client and internal implementation meetings.
- Preparing agendas, status reports, recaps and next-step documentation.
- Assigning responsibilities across internal teams, contractors, creators, talent and external partners.
- Maintaining clear communication between Hype Boss leadership and client teams.
- Managing multiple complex programs simultaneously without losing track of details
- Coordinating creator, talent, media, event and brand activation deliverables.
- Managing program calendars, production schedules, content deadlines and launch dates.
- Tracking contractual deliverables and ensuring Hype Boss delivers against the agreed scope.
- Keeping leadership informed of what requires attention, approval or escalation.
- Developing systems that make programs easier to manage as Hype Boss grows.
You should be comfortable being the person who knows exactly where a project stands at any given moment.
CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
This role requires strong account management instincts.
You will frequently sit between Hype Boss leadership and senior stakeholders at major brands and media companies.
You should know how to communicate clearly with executives while maintaining strong working relationships with the people responsible for day-to-day execution.
You will
- Serve as a primary operational point of contact for key accounts.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
- Keep clients informed without overwhelming them with internal process.
- Document decisions and ensure they translate into action.
- Manage expectations around timelines, responsibilities and deliverables.
- Follow up professionally and persistently when something is outstanding.
- Recognize when an issue needs to be escalated and bring leadership in at the right time.
- Protect the quality of the client experience from kickoff through completion.
WHERE MARKETING MEETS EXECUTION
Our programs require high touch within various media formats, digital marketing channels, and as such you will need enough multimedia and marketing experience to understand how the pieces fit together. Experience should include direct experience in several of the following:
- Social media management, short form video production, podcast production, email newsletter creation and distribution
- Creator and influencer campaigns and programs, brand partnerships and activations
- High stakes event management and speaker logistics
- PR and media relations
For this role, you will have access to resources to help design and produce everything, however your ability to navigate digital asset creation is a strong plus. You will need to understand what strong creative and marketing execution looks like, how the production process works and what information a creative team needs to execute properly.
Presentations & Marketing Materials
This person must be highly capable of taking information, strategy and ideas and turning them into organized client-facing materials. You should be comfortable creating, refining, and finalizing
- Pitch decks and program guides
- Creative briefs and brand activation briefs
- Partnership materials
- Campaign overviews
- Internal implementation documents
- Executive summaries and pre-reads
You should have strong visual judgment and understand how to structure information so that a presentation feels polished, clear and persuasive.
AI Fluency
AI will be part of your daily workflow. You must be comfortable working with tools including Claude, ChatGPT/OpenAI and other AI platforms to accelerate research, documentation, planning, presentations, content development and program management.
We are looking for someone who knows how to use AI as an operating tool rather than someone who occasionally enters prompts into ChatGPT.
You should be able to
- Build effective prompts and workflows.
- Provide AI systems with proper context.
- Use AI to organize complex information.
- Turn meeting notes and conversations into implementation plans.
- Develop first drafts of presentations, briefs and marketing materials.
- Analyze documents, scopes and contracts for deliverables.
- Critically review AI output and recognize when it is wrong, incomplete or off-brand.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
A working understanding of the residential real estate industry is a plus although not a requirement.
Ideally, you understand the ecosystem surrounding real estate agents, brokers, teams, technology companies, media companies, coaches, creators, brands and industry events.
You do not need to be a practicing real estate agent, but you should understand how the industry works, who its major players are and how real estate professionals consume media, education, technology and marketing.
The right person probably has experience spanning several traditional job categories.
You may have worked in account management, project management, executive operations, brand partnerships, agency operations, experiential marketing, media, executive assistance or integrated marketing.
Your background matters less than your ability to operate.
You are highly organized and unusually strong at follow-through.
You can take a conversation with ten moving pieces and turn it into a clean implementation plan with owners and deadlines.
You are comfortable working directly with executives. You write clearly. You know how to manage high stakes relationships. You understand marketing. You can build a good deck.
You keep track of details without losing sight of the larger program.
You are comfortable asking people for what you need and following up until you get it.
You can move between strategy and execution without waiting for someone to translate one into the other.
Strong candidates will have
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience managing client accounts, programs or complex projects.
- Experience working in an agency, media company, brand, startup or similarly fast-moving environment.
- Strong account management and relationship management experience.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across organizations.
- Multimedia marketing experience.
- Strong presentation and pitch-deck skills.
- Excellent written communication.
- Advanced organizational and project-management skills.
- Experience working directly with founders, executives or senior leadership.
- Fluency with modern AI tools, particularly Claude and ChatGPT/OpenAI.
- Working knowledge of the residential real estate industry.
Experience with creator programs, talent management, sponsorships, media partnerships, events or experiential activations is especially valuable.
What Success Looks Like
Programs have clear owners, deadlines and deliverables.
Clients know what is happening and see you as their point of contact.
Internal teams know what they are responsible for, while leadership knows where their attention is needed.
Commitments do not disappear inside emails, Slack threads, meeting notes or contracts.
Ideas and programs that have been sold become the programs, campaigns, and activations that move the needle for our clients.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year
